Ellen and I visited the Nationaal Park Nieuw Land at the Oostvaardersplassen for the first time in late April. Hued in the shades of spring and teeming with bird life, we enjoyed our leisurely walk and the good weather. Although we heard so much more than we saw (helped by a birding app), the various birding hides provided a secluded place to view.
A trip well worth it, and certainly not our last … 😉
